NIOBIUM® – INSTRUCTOR I“ body armor vest is a robust vest designed to provide protection from fire-arms, blades and spikes, ensuring firm fit, maximum load bearing capabilities and long life time.
The unique combination of outer fabric CORDURA® and of inside fabric 3D SPACER Coolmax® fresh results in a durable, yet lightweight, end-product that features antibacterial and temperature regulation properties. The 3D SPACER Coolmax® fresh lining has high compression resistance thus allowing increased air circulation for the elimination of moisture.
“NIOBIUM® – INSTRUCTOR I“ design provides 360° coverage area and offers increased functionality and maximum load bearing capabilities thanks to the 360 o MOLLE compatible webbing system and the 1000D CORDURA® shell fabric.
“NIOBIUM® – INSTRUCTOR I“ features a four-point adjustment system on the shoulders and the waist which allows quick and easy donning/doffing. Wide waist and shoulder parts ensure a firm yet comfortable fit offering optimal weight distribution. Its hook and loop fasteners meet MIL SPEC F AA-55126B requirements and it features a high-strength carrying handle (DRAG HANDLE) at the back. The front and rear external pockets allow the insertion of Hard Armor plates of 25×30 cm upgrading the level of protection to level III or IV in order for the user to be protected against rifle fire.
Available with loop parts at the front and the back for the placement of IDs or service logos.
“NIOBIUM®” (SPM.3A,1.2304) is a Multi-Threat soft armor hybrid panel, manufactured combining UHMWPE and UD Aramid materials, providing protection from fire-arms, blades and spikes. The combination of UHMWPE and UD Aramid materials results to a flexible and light-weight panel which has, almost, “0” penetration at all the NIJ 0115.00 STD blades and spikes, whilst it provides very low Back Face Signature against 9x19mm FMJ and .44 Magnum SJHP REMINGTON calibers when tested according to NIJ 0101.04 STD.
