Description

Blade and spike protection vest “TOPAZ® – UNDERSHIRT” has been designed to provide maximum level I protection according to NIJ 0115.00 STD, while providing high concealment even when used under a shirt.
The blade and spike protection panel has been constructed using UD ARAMID sheets vertically placed (in 0° and 90°direction), a combination that was developed to provide maximum protection against any sharp object having energy of up to 36 joules and causing perforation not exceeding 10mm in any laboratory test.
The total weight of the vest is only 1.5 kg in size Large, having at the same time a panel thickness of less than 6mm which greatly aids high-level concealment.
The unique combination of THERMOCOOL™ and COOLMAX® fabrics results in a lightweight end-product that features antibacterial properties and temperature regulation, thus enabling increased air circulation for the elimination of moisture.
The panels are secured within internal pockets and the carrier has a side-opening system with low detection zipper that allows for quick and easy donning for maximum functionality and comfort.
